- Not Joining Enough Companies
There are a couple of reasons for this. The main one is that each company no matter how good will only send out a handful of surveys a week and the chances are that your profile will only match that of a couple of them.
Even if you are lucky and are matched to lets say all ten surveys, if those surveys pay an average of $5 then you will make just $50 that week. Easy money? Yes. Worthwhile? Not really. Now imagine if you are registered with 100 hundred companies, even if you only make $5 with say 50 of those companies that's still $250 a week.
Yes the signing up process is boring, tedious and a little time consuming but it is a necessity if you want to make money with paid surveys. There are auto form fillers available that will make the process quicker and at least it is a chore you will only need to complete once.
To make it easier to put up with the boredom of repeatedly filling in the signing up forms I would suggest you simply join 10 companies a day. This would reach the hundred total within a fortnight and will feel less of a chore.
Of course finding a hundred companies isn't easy so a paid surveys directory is required and this brings me nicely to point 2.
- Using The Wrong Directories
Haven't you ever found it strange that some survey sites are free when others get away with charging a fee? There is a simple reason for this the free sites aren't really free they just make there money in a different way.
You will notice if you try both that a paid access directory will list far more companies than a free directory but the reason for them being free isn't simply because there list are smaller, they are also far inferior.
Free sites make there money by only supplying you with a list of companies that are willing to pay them for the referral. They may be willing to pay the survey directory for a legitimate reason, like they are desperate for members to take there surveys however the majority aren't.
The majority are willing to pay because they are after your personal details and email address. People are been more protective than ever about giving any information but the incentive of paid surveys are the perfect cover for getting them to give there details. What this means is that the companies on a free list will provide little in the way of paid surveys but a hell of a lot of junk emails.
Some of the most popular survey sites are also worth avoiding as they do pretty much the same thing, many are popular because of good advertising and not because they are the best. Only an handful of people make a full time living from paid surveys and those that do have devoted a lot of time and effort to making this work for them but the chances of you doing the same are slim. Paid surveys are a good way to make money but only if you see them for what they are, a good way to boost your income.
People also expect to sign up and within an hour have an inbox full of paid surveys. This is unlikely to happen to most of you, in fact the majority may not receive much for the first month as it can take a while for the companies to fully register your details and start to send you paid surveys on a consistent basis. However if you have patience and give them time they will come and after a few months they will be fairly consistent.
You now know the three main reasons people make no money with paid surveys so you now have the power to avoid them and do the exact opposite... make money with paid surveys. It's what I do every month and so do thousands of others who do them right.
